Building results show values on facades and roofs. This guide uses a saved Direct Sun Hours result from central Vienna. The same process applies to the supported building-surface analyses.
Choose a Buildings result
In Add analysis, choose a supported analysis. Set its run target to Buildings or both Ground and Buildings. Check the period and run. If you already have a result, open its Facades + roofs card in Results.
Use All to show facades and roofs. Use Roofs when you want to inspect roof surfaces. The Ground and Buildings layer controls let you select the result for each surface type.
Select a building
Move close enough to see the building. Click its coloured surface to open Building statistics. The Summary view shows the facade mean and, where roof data are available, the roof mean.
The height bands show how the saved facade values change above the ground. Floor labels are an estimate. Read the recorded height and units with them. A whole-site mean and the mean for one building describe different surface populations.

Inspect a threshold
Open Threshold in the building card to inspect a value condition. Check the selected analysis, units and period before you interpret it. Use the result colour controls to make the pattern clear. A display range changes the colours; it does not change the saved simulation.
Ask about the saved surfaces
Open Site assistant and ask a precise question, such as “Show the facades with the most direct sun in the saved result.” The assistant can read the result and highlight matching surfaces. Check its explanation and the highlighted area.
Use the building card for height detail. The assistant can state that a detail is unavailable to it even when the building card can show it.

Compare design options
Use Compare to inspect the same analysis across scenarios. Keep the weather and period the same. For facade and roof rows, read the selected surface population and coverage. Do not compare a roof-only mean with an all-surface mean.
